Anthony Colantuono has studied and trained Martial Arts since childhood. He holds a Black Belt in Karate and a Brown Belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Anthony has extensive background knowledge in Judo and Wrestling that compliment his Jiu-Jitsu and Submission Grappling training. He is a certified instructor under Rodrigo Medeiros and Tony Pacenski (BJJ Revolution Team/Carlson Gracie). He currently trains local law enforcement using the C.O.P.S. Program™ Defensive Tactics For Law Enforcement (created by Tony Pacenski).

Anthony travels to the West coast several times a year to compete in some of the most prestigious tournaments in the country and to train with some of the best Jiu-Jitsu practitioners in the world. As a coach, he has produced US National Medalists, Pan-American Champions and Medalists, successful MMA Fighters, and multiple Jiu-Jitsu tournament champions. Anthony's teaching style is very precise and easy to understand for all students, and he maintains a positive and supportive environment for all to feel welcome.

Anthony graduated from Temple University in 2004 with a Bachelor's Degree in Finance and Real Estate. Aside from being the owner of the Revolution Academy, Anthony is also the owner of A&M Auto Cosmetics. Currently, Anthony resides in Yardley, PA with his wife Kristen and his bullmastiff George.

Michael Kearse holds a 2nd Degree Black Belt in Karate, a Purple Belt in Jiu-Jitsu, and has a great deal of background knowledge in Judo. He is known around the academy as "Mr. Technical" due to his meticulous and accurate transitions from one move to another. When training with Michael, you must stay on your defense, as he is known to stay in constant motion.

Michael is currently studying for his Doctorate degree at Lehigh University. When not in school, he resides in Levittown, PA.

Yohannes Habtu started boxing and wrestling at a very early age, which led to his interest in martial Arts. He holds a Purple Belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and trains vigorously in Muay-Thai Boxing. Yohannes has used his skills in the above arts to pursue a career in Mixed Martial Arts Fighting. He currently holds a winning career record of 2-1, and uses his knowledge of the sport to help train future MMA Fighters. Yohannes teaches our Muay-Thai and No-Gi classes, providing excellent lessons that support students of all ages and levels.

Yohannes currently resides in Levittown, PA, and enjoys spending time with his girlfriend and family.

Joe DeZolt wrestled throughout his high school career, leading him to a successful start in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. He came to the school looking for an outlet to stay in shape and stay out of trouble, not expecting to become one of the most talented students and respected coaches at the Academy. Currently Joe teaches the kids classes, as well as assists the other coaches during all of the Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu classes. Joe's teaching style is very easy going, yet defined and accurate. He is very personable and takes pride in his Jiu-Jitsu accomplishments and teaching abilities.

Wrestling/BJJ Instructor: Matt Rizzo

Matt Rizzo is a pure athlete. He has an outstanding lifelong wrestling background which made it effortless to transition into Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and MMA. Matt is an extremely dedicated student and instructor. When it's time to train, he trains hard and encourages everyone around him to do the same. When it's time to coach, he keeps his spirits up, as well as those around him. Matt's teaching style is very high-paced and energetic, while remaining technical and focused.

Matt is currently a student at ESU, studying for his BS in Community Health. When not in school, Matt resides in Levittown, PA and works in Bensalem, PA.

Wrestling Instructor: Scott Heckman

Scott Heckman has been a talented and successful wrestler his entire life. After completing an outstanding high school wrestling and football career, he went on to wrestle in College at ESU. When Scott realized his wrestling career would soon end upon graduating from ESU, he knew he wanted to continue staying active and use his natural athletic abilities. Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu sparked his interest and he soon began his training at the Academy, driving two hours each way from ESU to Levittown, three sometimes four days a week. His first year as a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu fighter proved to be a successful one (refer to accomplishments below). Scott's teaching style is upbeat and clear-cut.

Scott graduated from ESU in May 2009 with a degree in Recreational Management. He currently resides in Pen Argyl, PA and works at the Wyndham Vacation Resort Shawnee Village in the Pocono Mountains.
